Opportunity for Artists

Corridor Art Space

The Corridor Art Space at the Southville Centre is one of the ways in which we support local artists, providing a free exhibition space for high-quality 2D work. With 26 metres of hanging rail along the busy corridors,  many artists have taken advantage of this space to show their work.

All work on display can be sold via reception, with a 10% commission charge on sales.

If you are interested in exhibiting your work then please apply via email to Elza Scoble or Nadine Bright and include the information below:

a) Please list your top 3 months of preference to exhibit—please note that the Southbank Arts Trail is in May so we do not schedule a corridor exhibit in May.

b) We have about 26 metres of hanging rail in the corridor, stretching along 5 different walls. Approximately how many metres of wall space would you like to exhibit? eg. 3-5, 5-10, 10-15, 15-26.

c) Please download and return our Artists Information Sheet, including pictures in the document or attached. The more information you send us, the easier it is to make a decision.

Please note that we cannot guarantee you a space, but if we think that your work is suitable for exhibition we will get back to you shortly.

Beauley Room

The Southville Centre also offers artists the opportunity to exhibit their work and hold a private view in the Beauley room. For further information please see Exhibition and private view - Room Hire opportunity for artists
